I was consulted to come up with the visual direction of the online event - All That Matters (allthatmatters.asia), Sponsored by Facebook, Twitch, Reed Smith, and others.
Working online with a seasoned team of event organizers, project managers, programmers, and copywriters, that is located in 5 different countries (Singapore, Hong Kong/ China, Australia, Canada, America).
Due to the global effects of COVID, global social unrest, and uncertainty in the global economy, I created the theme "GLITCH" to represent the abnormal flow of business, and the event's transition to online video. With the event going online after 12 years of inspiring in-person content based in Singapore that has attracted industry leaders, I thought it to be fitting and on-trend to represent the change coupled with uncertainty - many glitches of 2020 but still content worth witnessing.
After a few rounds of designs and clear communication via Zoom, Google docs, and Telegram, and a SCRUM project management style, I created color coded theme graphics for 7 different event topics. For this I built detailed style guides, where I applied these rules and designed the sales decks, website graphics, and social media content that are static graphics, animated GIFs, and video stings. I created a template system for all popular social media platforms and print campaigns in a library system based on CANVA for the production team. I was also tasked to create lower 3rds for the video media platforms the event will be using - Twitch and Youtube.
